The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department is your community connection for sports, recreation, leisure classes, programs and entertainment. 

You can always count on us to do our very best to serve the recreation and leisure needs of the community.We take pride in knowing we offer everything you like to do. Interested in a recreation or leisure activity? 

You´ll find just what you need at more than 120 parks, 26 pools (including 7 year-round pools), the Reid Park Zoo, 3 tennis centers, 5 golf courses, 3 Urban Fishing lakes, special interest locations, community events or at one of 18 recreation and special service centers, providing year-round programs and activities.

Produced by the Public Information Office, the Program Guide is published quarterly.

Important News-
Copies will only be available for free pick-up at designated locations. These include:

  • All Parks and Recreation offices/centers
  • Most Tucson-Pima Public Libraries
  • And some of your favorite places to shop inluding:
    • Fry´s
    • Albertsons
    • Osco
    • Blockbuster
    • 7-Eleven
    • and Super K-Mart

Program Guides will be available at these locations for an eight-week period following publication.

Of course, Program Guides are always available free throughout the year at any of our 17 community centers, pool locations, tennis centers, or sports offices. You can also pick-up a free copy by visiting any of these convenient district office locations:

  • Parks and Recreation Administration and Northwest District
    900 S. Randolph Way
  • East District Office
    8257 E. Broadway
  • Southwest District Office
    4208 S. Santa Rita

Program guides will no be available at all pick-up locations on Monday preceding the start of Friday registration for Kids "N" Play or leisure classes.

They are also available on the day of publication on the City of Tucson website at www.cityoftucson.org. Online registration is not available.

Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience the changes in distribution may cause; however, these changes were necessary to reduce the hight cost of printing and newspaper distribution. Watching what we spend will also let us serve you better!

Each issue of the Program Guide will now be expanded to offer even more valuable information about our many programs, services, and facilities for your entire family and people of all ages. Be sure to pick up your free copy!

While every attempt is made to ensure each Program Guide & Class Catalog is free of errors, there are times when errors in dates, times, rates or registration information do occur. We will do everything possible to correct such errors, and we thank you for your patience and understanding when these situations arise.
